November 10th, 2009 | General
Hi all:
Just to let you know and to say SORRY, I am no longer going to be able to supply you with pampers. I have thought long and hard about this and I feel I just can’t continue to supply my clients readers and friends. I truly am sorry I can no longer bring you Pampers. So once the stock I have is sold I will not have any more avaiable.

Hi Nicole:
Thank you for your comment and you are the first person to use my blog to comment, I hope more people will use the blog to communicate with me because it will save me having to reply to the same emails over and over. I have just got back from the beach with mums group it was hard work a 4 weeks old baby a toddler and please someone remind me why I decided to take the dog as well?? Maybe because Darragh kept telling him all morning “beach, beach, beach” and he got so excited I just didn’t know how to refuse him a lift to the beach.
Now back to pampers, I am so sorry for convincing you all to change to pampers. Why did I do this, I did it because I was under the impression I was going to be able to supply you all with pampers for as long as you needed them. I had explored importing them but was told I would have to bring in two shipping containers a year and I was unable to do that. Then I found a supplier at first Coles believe it or not I was going to Coles buying pampers and passing them on to all of you at a financial loss to myself. But I was doing it because I am a nice person and I believed your little ones bums should have a good start in life. I was told Coles were going to be brining them in and having the range full time I had explained to them the difference between qualities but to my amazement they have brought in a different range and there is nothing I can do about it. I did have another contact to get pampers from but this contact has emailed me and told me unless I endorse the entire range I will no longer be able to get stock off them. So I am stuck and as shocked as you are.
On top of the above I could try and get more from other avenues but as I said in the original post it is too hard to explain to people that I only endorse what is in my shop. You know this is a true fact but some people think I am just pushing my own sales and don’t understand the difference. Also to explain the differences in product in detail you often have to point out the faults of a similar product out there and this can result in companies getting upset with me.
Once again thank you Nicole for your comment!!

Hi Tizzie – while I can understand that there has been lots of confusion with the Active Fit/Cruizers range surely its a simple case of “I only endorse the product from my shop” Just the same as you say with other products where the company produces items that you don’t think are “safe” etc, dont you do the same with bubaroo?
So many of us love the Pampers after all your time spent convincing us of how good they are. Isnt there people who are using them full time?
I only use at night cause I bought way too many boxes of huggies when they were on special and still have 6 boxes of crawler and 3 of walker stockpiled in a guest room LOL
I am disapointed that I can no longer get them from you and will not be wanting to buy them from my local coles as they are the Cruizers range. Please reconsider with the suggestion I have made.
regards Nicole

Hi Tizzie,
I’m sorry to hear all the troubles you are having with Pampers. However, I do have to add my 2 cents! This is so the public knows what they are getting with the different Pampers.
I have tried various Pampers in the past year:
Pampers from Singapore and Malaysia called Active Baby &
Baby Comfort – TERRIBLE!!! The Active Baby did not have stretchy side tabs and the fit was very small, although they did have a moisturising core and did not leak. Baby Comfort was terrible…. filmsy, leaked, crystals, no stretch, nappy tore easily!
Pampers from UK called Active Fit (with Sesame Street) and Baby Dry. Good but leaked occasionally and the core was not as moisturising as the German ones (with elephants).
Pampers from Germany (with elephants) also called Active Fit. Top notch nappies! With every poo, it slides off my girl’s bum and I only need one wipe with each change. Saves me alot of wipes and nappies, as this nappy holds alot! Not to mention, no worries about a red bum at all.
Pampers from USA (which Coles is stocking – also with Sesame Street) called Cruisers. This is very close to the UK ones but with a major flaw: it is very strongly fragranced. The nappy is not bad, slim and stretchy but the fragrance is very irritating to my girl’s skin…. which I think is unfortunate. From a supermarket, this would have been my 1st Choice, as I thought it was still much better than Huggies. Shame about the fragrance.
Tizzie, you should not have to worry about offending other companies when pointing out the faults of their Pampers. If these companies were run by astute business people, they should know that the problem doesn’t lie with you, but with P & G. They should look to P & G for answers as to why this company allows and have different standards within a brand.
Can you look for a business partner for importing the 2 shipping containers?
I have been using these German Pampers with the elephants on them full-time. I bought 5 small packets of 26 from you in September and still have one packet left. That is how good they are.
Kind Regards,
Lynn

Hi Lynn:
You said “I have been using these German Pampers with the elephants on them full-time. I bought 5 small packets of 26 from you in September and still have one packet left. That is how good they are.” Maybe you have something in what you just said. With Pampers the ones I was stocking you could use as little as three in 24 hours for a toddler, maybe they were so good Pampers were not selling as many and maybe they have changed them so we need 5 in 24 hours!!

I am devastated that you will no longer be able to provide us with these. I had a major leakage problem with my son resulting in waking with wet clothes, bed linen etc and Pampers were the only thing to solve this.
On the other hand I understand your situation and am sorry for that.
Do you have anymore in store left??

Hi Pampers lovers!!!
Nathan says if you send him and email with exactly what you want for your final pampers order he will try and fill them for you with the help of one Coles store. All the sizes we had are easy enough to get but size 4 is a little harder but he thinks he can still get them. Be quick before he changes his mind. Email Nathan@saveoursleep.com But you need to note this is the last time we can do this.

Hi Anne:
Intially we were talking about the Pampers made in either Germany or the UK. However these pampers are no longer available anywhere in the world.
